There are various sites that help one build an online portfolio to share their creative work. Among these sites, I found that blurb.com and weebly.com are really innovative sites that enable the artist to show their work.
Blurb allows one to make a professional book of all their artwork. This could come in handy with digital illustration and graphic design majors who are looking for a job. It comes in PDF and paperback. I find that having both options could be extremely beneficial when applying for future careers.
Weebly on the other hand, is strictly online. This site also can help computer art majors to show off all their work in one setting. Upon looking up sites, I found that Weebly was actually the top recommended online portfolio maker. I will say that the set up of Weebly is more advanced and seems easier to create. It also is organized which is beneficial for the viewer.
