Self-Promotion: Kelly Marie’s Business Card

While looking at examples of self-promotion, I decided to focus more on the ways designers portray themselves specifically in their business cards. During the search, I came across the business card of artist Kelli Marie. What makes this business card unique is its irregular tag-like shape, its use of heavier-stock paper, and its contrast that relies on value rather than color. What I like the most about the card is that the design surpasses any business card with just a logo and some text for contact info. You can tell that the designer put much thought and effort into the card because of the placement of the typographic elements, along with icons that convey their own personality without the need for more words.
