Information Design is everywhere in society. It is a way to get an idea or facts out through images. This is common within textbooks, newspapers, or posters. One image that I found online that represents Information Design. 
This a perfect example of a design that gets knowledge out. The way it is color coated with the plate incorporated makes it easy to tell what it is about, whilst on the bottom there is a group of foods associated with their character. This is a very efficient deisgn.
This is another Information Design that shows the value of what could become. It shows you exactly what it is trying to convey through simplistic designs. This is efficient for the viewer.
