Tadanori Yokoo

An important aspect to know about Tadanori Yokoo is that he tends to use real life experiences to use and twist into his artwork. And it’s very obvious to realize this when looking through his art, his color choices, the subjects. Also that he started out with graphic design and moved on to just design on canvases. And that he saw the graphic design as a way for him to remain creative yet make a living within it. Which is most likely why he stopped after a good portion of his career back to canvases to get more creative and make art for himself.
